Every year, we look for two enthusiastic, confident, and experienced individuals to become our water safety experts for the summer season!
A day in the life of a waterwise team member
TRAVEL
WaterWise Team Members travel across the province to high-risk areas to promote their key safety messages. Team Members can spend up to 3 to 5 days on the road (including weekends) with vehicle, travel costs, accommodation, and meals provided.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
Team Members deliver WaterWise Wisdom presentations at no cost to elementary and middle schools in British Columbia. Team Members are outgoing, energetic and enjoy public presentation.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Team Members promote drowning prevention and water safety through community and high profile events. Team Members are experts in their field and extraordinary in their interactions with the public.
MEDIA
If it's about water safety, they've got it covered. Team Members are media-trained to provide drowning prevention education to the public. Team Members are passionate, knowledgeable, and confident.
*Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends. Must be fully licensed with a valid B.C. driver's license and provide a driver's abstract.
